Behind the exquisite craftsmanship and phenomenal power in every Bentley are generations of extraordinary people who have had a hand in shaping them. In 2019, Bentley celebrates its 100th year. 

To mark this special occasion, we have developed a limited series of writing instruments for the “Graf von Faber-Castell for Bentley” collection which has been inspired by a whole century of Bentley craftsmanship

Exquisite handcrafted features

Every Bentley built at the factory in Crewe during the anniversary year features a special ‘Centenary Specification’ pack – an exquisite package of handcrafted features including unique ‘Centenary Gold’ badging, distinctive seat embroidery, unique tread-plates and other special details which identify each car as part of the celebrations. 
Taking inspiration from these exquisite features, we have styled our "Limited Edition Centenary" writing instruments with the same intricate ‘Centenary Gold’ detailing.

A proud heritage

To celebrate 100 years, Bentley has launched the ‘Continental GT Number 9 Edition by Mulliner’, which is inspired by the brand’s proud racing heritage. In homage to the famous winning No.9 Bentley Blower of the 1930s, this new limited edition car features a number 9 applied to its matrix grille. 
As a tribute to the iconic Bentley matrix grille, the slender metal barrel of each “Limited Edition Centenary” writing instrument is decorated with an elaborate diamond pattern applied in the Guilloche style.

In 1919, W.O. Bentley built his first car – the product of a passion for materials and fine craftsmanship that makes up the Bentley DNA to this day. As Bentley celebrates its 100th year, the “Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner” pays homage to the 8 Litre - W.O. Bentley’s final creation. 

Inspired by the deep, rich colours of this edition, our "Limited Edition Centenary" comes in a sophisticated black. All metal parts, the barrel and the nib of the fountain pen are finished with a tough anthracite-coloured PVD-coating made of titanium.

Timeless beauty

With a company history of over 250 years for the Faber-Castell family to be proud of, it is an honor for us to celebrate Bentley’s Centenary with a timelessly beautiful yet uniquely dynamic trio of products. The “Limited Edition Centenary” range features distinctive Bentley design elements such as the characteristic diamond pattern on the metal barrel, the unique diamond knurling and the Bentley “B” at the top of the cap which is adorned by a delicate ring with 24-carat gold coating. The availability of the fountain pens, rollerballs and ballpoint pens of this edition is exclusively limited to Bentley’s anniversary year of 2019.
